Welcome to RoadRunners
Welcome to the VSOC C13 RoadRunners North London Centre of the National Virago Star Owners Club (VSOC). We cover North London, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. We are one of nineteen VSOC Centres that cover all of the UK and Ireland – for more about our National Club click here.
Centre 13 Roadrunners has around forty members all with Yamaha Virago/Star motorcycles. We have a great mix of original stock, restored, customised and new machines. We have members learning on 125cc machines through to veteran members who were original founders of our National club twenty-five years ago. It is a very successful blend of experience and enthusiasm keeping our members very happy and coming back for more.
For casual riders, we organise rides on most weekends between April and November with non-riding social activities throughout the whole year. For those who enjoy rallies, our National Club holds three UK based weekend camping rallies each year and parties. Our Centre also has its own UK based Summer Holiday and a Christmas Party function each year. For those who enjoy long-range touring we support a programme of International events with Roadrunners having ridden to Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain and Sweden.
Other than owning a qualifying motorcycle when you join, there are no requirements or expectations demanded of our members – you take as much or as little from what we offer as you wish – we understand your time and finances have limitations so spend them doing the things you really enjoy!
We hold local club meetings once or twice a month depending on the time of year. If you’re interested in hearing more and meeting some of our members please come along to a club night. We meet at Broadlakes Lodge Social Club, Shenley Lane, London Colney, Herts, AL2 1DQ. Visit the Events Calendar to see when our next meet up is. Drop me an email and we will ensure a warm welcome awaits you.
I look forward to meeting you soon,
