On Sunday 6th March The RoadRunners went 10 pin bowling at Stevenage’s Hollywood Bowl.
We had a great day out with 11 of us turning up, Frank & Mo, Tracy and Simon and JK on one team with Rob & Judy (our friends with the Harley’s from our recent movie stardom days) Fleur & Frank (with Frank spectating from the bench because we didn’t have enough lanes! Sorry Frank!), Jane and Benn on the other team. JK’s team took the team win with 464 to our 458, but it all came down to the very last frame and Tracy smashed it with a spare and a strike in the 10th, stealing it from Rob at the last minute.
But Rob came out as the overall individual winner by just 1 point with 120 to JK’s 119! Fleur provided us all with gold medals and Rob with the winner’s trophy!
It was a lot of fun, with great company and just a little friendly rivalry.
